Our Opportunity range incorporates a multitude of products including Copier, Coated, Graphical boards, Packaging boards, Newsprint and Uncoated products. Over the past 30 years we have built a reputation with both customers and partnering mills to enable us to bring you high quality Opportunity products at substantially reduced prices over and above a fully mill guaranteed grade of paper/board. Our Opportunity range is a limited range, however substantial tonnes become available with some stock lots exceeding 500 tonnes. Opportunity gives you the chance to save costs on your paper and for many one off or regular jobs where the product doesn't have to be on the same product week in week out.

Why is Opportunity available?
Opportunity becomes available for variety of reasons, to give you an idea here are the most popular reasons stock becomes available:

Side Run: The term 'side-run' is used when a mill has a need to fill the deckle of their paper machines to optimise full usage of the machine width. As an example, the mill may have an 8 metre wide reel but production orders only utilise 7 metres of the width therefore a 'side-run' may be offered at a reduced cost to ensure full utilisation of the width.

Out of Specification: These are products that may be slightly out of the strict specification the mills set out, however it is suitable for most print requirements. As an example, a product may have been made to a higher or lower gloss level, higher or lower whiteness or higher or lower grammage level than originally specified.

Redundant Stock: As you can imagine the mills are selling hundreds of thousands of tonnes every year and from time to time they will have customer stocks not sold in a special size, change the product slightly or simply be over stocked

Mill Trials: If the mills are looking to produce a new or revised product they will under go trials, again to save confusion they will not supply standard paper merchants with this product as it will be different in some shape or form to your regular product.

OPPORTUNITY GUARANTEE

Opportunity comes with a limited mill guarantee due to the lower purchase price that is passed on to our customer, however unless otherwise stated the product should always run four colour single side pass without complaint, in most cases our Opportunity range will work to the same demands as most fully mill guaranteed products.

If you were unfortunate and a proven fault is found with the Opportunity product we will uplift and credit any unprinted/uncut material. Down time or consequential losses will not be entertained under any circumstances.
